THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
Did you know Run Events now offers a Virtual Runner option! Want to support the cause but out of town on race day? Love the bling but hate getting up so early on a Saturday? Well, we still want you to be included! Here’s how it works:
If you know you absolutely can’t make it but want to sign up anyway, you can still get that tee shirt and finisher’s medal.
Simply run the same distance as the chosen race during the week leading up to race day.
Ex: Yiasou Greek Fest 5K is Saturday, 8/25 therefore you have from Saturday, 8/18 – Friday, 8/24 to complete your virtual entry.
Share on social media and email firstname.lastname@example.org the workout from your Garmin or other running app, and arrange to have your tee and medal sent to your closest Run For Your Life;
You will not be eligible for awards or an official time.
After the race, just stop by the Run For Your Life you chose to pick up your tee shirt and medal!
It’s that easy! We want you to be included and if you just can’t make it…. Well now you can!
For the most accurate scores and results, please be sure that when you register for 6-Pack events that you USE A CONSISTENT NAME. For example, if you register for one race as James Doe but then a second race as Jim Doe, your results will be categorized under two different names and won’t be added together. Please notify us of any name changes, such as taking on a married name.
Make sure you check the results after every race. Make sure your time appears (runners have been know to wear their timing device wrong and not appear in results). Follow up with us if you have any questions WITHIN 2 WEEKS of the race.
Registration for the entire Six Pack Series is available online ONLY.
If you are not registering for the full series, you can register for each race individually. Just click on the Sign Up links for each of the events on our event calendar. There is no need for you to register for all of the races at once – we will track who is running all of the races! Just keep in mind – you must follow either the Short Course or Long Course race packages in order to be eligible for a series award. If you plan to run the Long Course 6 Pack but skip out on the Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and run the 5 Miler instead, you won’t be eligible for any of the 6 Pack series awards.
