Just outside of Uptown Charlotte lies the historic, oak-lined neighborhood of Dilworth. This has quickly become one of our most popular races due to the prime location alone.
The flat(ish) streets of Dilworth provide for beautiful tree-lined views the entire 3.12 miles.
Have a child that’s working towards their first 5K? Then you’ve got to check out our 1 Mile Fun Run Course!
The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral is the host location for the race which is located at 600 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203.
PARKING IS VERY LIMITED IN THE DILWORTH NEIGHBORHOOD! So please do not plan to park right near the race site. Some suggestions:

It’s time to get the whole family involved! Once you cross the finish line (and snatch your medal), why not participate in a little cool down run with your kids? This non-competitive trot will start the next generation of runners off on the right foot!
It is what it says it is – 1 Mile long (give or take a few feet depending on how you take your turns!) Check out the Kid’s 1 Mile Fun Run course map! Please be sure you register your child before race day.
Please be at the finish line, with your child, by 8:20am. A member of our team will give the children instructions and lead them to the start line on East Boulevard. We will make announcements from the finish line so that you don’t miss Tim. Every kid that participates in the 1 Mile will receive a prize!
Let’s make sure you know where you’re going and why you’re doing this!

We partner with the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral to host this race and promote the Yiasou Greek Festival, the southeast largest cultural festival, hosted in September each year. The Cathedral’s GOYA (Greek Orthodox Young Adults) come out on race day and volunteer, making sure everything runs smoothly. The mission of the Greek Orthodox Youth of America (GOYA) is to provide 6th through 12th graders the opportunity for fellowship, service, witness and worship with one another, and with other GOYA members throughout the Holy Metropolis of Atlanta, and from across the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
You need three S’s when it comes to race day. Selfies. Sweat. and SWAG!! You don’t have to worry one bit when it come’s to the swag department at our races.
All 5K participants will receive a finisher’s medal. The medal will be one of six collectors medals. Run all races in the Six Pack Series and connect them to make one HUGE medal!
